When Chai Met Toast Set to Embark on Global Tour 2025

Indian Indie Band When Chai Met Toast Goes International with 2025 Tour

When Chai Met Toast (WCMT), Kerala’s folk-indie favorites, are all set for an exciting new chapter with their upcoming album, Small Town, Big Love, Little Homes release. Alongside the album, an announcement has been made by the band about their highly anticipated Joy of Little Things World Tour. The tour will kick off this December in India.

The tour will start on December 14, 2025, in Kochi, followed by spectacular shows in Bengaluru (Dec. 19), Mumbai (Dec. 20), Pune (Dec. 21), Chennai (Jan. 9, 2026), and Gurugram (Jan. 10, 2026). Early access tickets can be grabbed by fans from September 11, 2025, through the email base of the band, while the general sale will start on September 12, 2025.

The four-piece group—Achyuth Jaigopal (guitar/banjo), Ashwin Gopakumar (vocals), Pai Sailesh (drums/percussion), and Palee Francis (keys/production) has built a loyal global following with their uplifting, warm sound that blends pop, folk, and indie influences.

A group statement explains, “We are touring with our new album Small Town, Big Love, Little Homes, and by the time we tour in India, all the songs won’t be released, but we will be performing the album in its entirety on this tour.”

In August 2026, the band will take their music from India to England, Scotland, Dublin, Cork, Germany, and the Netherlands. The following month, they will tour across Canada and the U.S. with 12 shows, before heading to Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide from October 31 to November 7, 2026. Additional dates will be announced soon.

The tour marks their fourth consecutive year of touring in India and abroad. “This time we are all taking a step back and evaluating how we should treat touring/live performances so that it’s more sustainable for us as a band. Keeping these in mind, for the next 10-12 months, these will be the only shows we do in the regions of the tour,” the band adds in a statement.
