Percept Live has made an announcement about the debut edition of Aaj Ka Scene, a new intellectual property that is focused on hip-hop culture, emerging talent and music. The two-day festival will be held on October 31 and November 1, 2026 from 1 PM to 10 PM, at Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla, Mumbai.
The festival will bring together emerging performers, established artists and young creators across rap, dance, graffiti, beatboxing, breaking, streetwear, DJ culture and creator culture. Sambata will headline the debut edition on October 31 and Karma on November 1.
Nikhil Uniyal, Business Head, Percept Live said, “Aaj Ka Scene is our way of giving Mumbai’s hip-hop community a stage that matches the scale of its talent. This isn’t just a festival, it’s a platform where the next generation of artists, dancers and creators get to be seen, heard and celebrated on their own terms. As a new live IP from Percept Live, we wanted to create something bespoke to the culture – a platform that is immersive, participative and genuinely driven by talent. A key part of our vision is also to create a Regional Artist Platform. Our ambition is to build Aaj Ka Scene into a larger cultural movement, taking the IP to audiences and hip-hop communities across India in the coming editions.”
Sonal Shah, Head – Brand Partnership and Sponsorship Sales, Percept Live said, “Aaj Ka Scene is a fresh, culturally relevant IP with enormous potential to connect youth brands with the audiences they want to influence. Its biggest strength is that it brings together music, street culture, creativity and fresh talent in one immersive environment – creating genuine opportunities for brands to engage, not just advertise. With its scope for bespoke experiences, creator-led content and talent discovery, we see Aaj Ka Scene evolving into a strong youth platform that can scale across cities and categories. As the Co-Presenting Partner, Breezer Bold will be integrated into this cultural ecosystem through a combination of on-ground brand experiences, audience engagement and content opportunities, creating meaningful visibility and relevance around the moments that matter to the community. It is this ability to build the brand into the experience, rather than simply place it within the event, that makes Aaj Ka Scene a compelling platform for youth-focused brand partnerships.”
Through its talent discovery programme Pioneer will support the DJ category. Winners across categories will get a chance to collaborate with established artists and be considered for future performance opportunities. The festival is presented as partners with Breezer Bold and No Nazar.
