Olivia Dean, renowned British singer has revealed that she will headline Lollapalooza India 2027, although neither nor BookMyShow neither Lollapalooza India has officially confirmed her appearance yet. The festival website is currently asking fans to register for updates regarding the lineup. The singer's official website lists as the date of Dean’s performance as January 23 which will be the first day of the festival.

This pretty much confirms it and marks the performance to be the India debut of Dean. She has previously headlined the third day of Lollapalooza Chicago in August, where Sam Fender joined her for their collaboration Rein Me In. She has also performed at other Lollapalooza editions.

Fans who had registered for updates from Dean received a message early on 1 September that read, “I’m headlining Lollapalooza 2027!!” The message also included an artist-sale link and a code to buy tickets on BookMyShow, according to reports.

Dean had hinted earlier at an India performance on 28 August. In an Instagram story, she posted a picture of herself on stage saying, “See you soon?” with an Indian flag emoji and directed followers to a registration page titled “Loving In India. Olivia Dean”.

In 2023, Dean released her debut album, Messy. The Mercury Prize-shortlisted record featured tracks including The Hardest Part, Carmen and Dive. Her second album, The Art of Loving, arrived in September 2025. It featured famous songs such as Man I Need and So Easy (To Fall in Love). The album earned her the 2026 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. The artist also won four 2026 BRIT Awards, including Pop Act and Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Rein Me In won Song of the Year.

Lollapalooza India 2027 is scheduled at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course for January 23–24. According to the official website of the festival, the two-day edition will feature more than 40 performances and four stages. Since launching in 2023 in India, the festival has hosted artists including Sting, The Strokes, Shawn Mendes, Green Day, Imagine Dragons and Linkin Park, alongside Indian acts such as Prateek Kuhad, Hanumankind, Divine and Bloodywood.
