HYBE's new label ABD has introduced its first girl group, TUIDE, with an exclusive pre-debut showcase in Seoul ahead of the group's official debut and album release later in 2026.
HYBE Music Group's new label ABD is all set to introduce its first girl group, TUIDE, with a pre-debut unconventional showcase in Seoul. The event has been titled "TUIDE EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW [PLAYGROUND]" and it will be held at Layers Studio 11 in Seoul's Mapo-gu district on August 1 and 2, 2026.
TUIDE comprises Elena, Jia, Saki, Seo-hee, Seo-yeon, Se-ah, and Lee Ha-nee. The name of the group, short for "Tune the Tide," reflects its vision of delivering a distinctive and fresh sound while blending global musical influences. ABD describes the members as capable of bringing a diverse mix of performance, dance and vocal talents aimed at appealing to both international and Korean audiences.
ABD said the event "will be a place to witness the start of the seven members who will create a new wave in the music industry," adding that the label hopes fans will enjoy the excitement of discovering TUIDE. Fans can apply to attend the preview through the TUIDE community on Weverse, the global fanplatform operated by HYBE. Applications will be accepted until July 26, after which ABD will conduct a lottery to select attendees. The event is scheduled for the first two days of August, and the group is expected to release its debut album later in the second half of 2026.
In a departure from the K-pop traditional rollout, TUIDE will perform songs from its entire debut album before the record is released officially. The showcase will mark the first live performance of the group and feature unreleased tracks. To preserve the exclusivity of the experience, video recording, photography, live streaming and audio recording will be strictly prohibited. Organisers have decided to focus on a festival-style atmosphere and immersive fan interactions.
The preview event also signals the confidence of HYBE in its newest label, which is dedicated to developing girl groups. Through a Weverse lottery fan entry will be determined, while the album release, official debut, additional performance activities and music videos of the group are expected later in 2026. With this unique launch strategy, the aim of TUIDE is to make an unforgettable first impression in the highly competitive K-pop industry.
