Hahakaar, a new two-day comedy festival from FilterCopy, will be held at Mumbai’s Mukesh Mills on December 12 and 13, 2026. The festival will bring together over 30 comedians across multiple stages, along with food and beverage experiences, interactive activities and an afterparty. Tickets for the festival are now available on District.

The lineup features some of the most established names, including Aakash Gupta, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Harsh Gujral, Munawar Faruqui, Manhar Seth, Atul Khatri, Prashasti Singh, Shreeja Chaturvedi, Aadar Malik, Rohit Shah, Gurleen Pannu, Onkar Yadav, Sapan Verma, Urooj Ashfaq and Shreya Priyam Roy. The festival will also feature surprise acts and emerging comedians.

Speaking about the scale of the festival, Siddharth Anand Kumar, Executive Vice President – Films & Events, Saregama, said, “Comedy is often experienced as a sit-down experience in an auditorium as individual artist shows. With Hahakaar, we wanted to make the comedian the starting point, not the entire experience. The idea was to build a celebration around comedy, where audiences can discover new acts, explore different formats, play, eat, and keep experiencing the festival beyond the main stage.”

Hahakaar has been designed as an interactive format rather than a conventional sit-down stand-up show. Its three comedy stages include Sucky Naka, an indoor space for surprise acts and intimate sets, Grand Stand, the main stage for headline performances and digital formats; and Nahi-Mann Point, which will host improv, experimental programming and open mics.

The festival will also feature Crawfood Market, Marine Dine and Chor Bizarre, combining a sea-facing lounge with installations, food and drinks. Get-Away-of-India will serve as the dedicated gaming zone.

The Saturday schedule will end with Chowparty, the official afterparty, extending the experience of the festival beyond the comedy stages.
