FENIX360 has collaborated with Indian music streaming platform Gaana to develop a creator-focused ecosystem that has been designed to help artists access revenue opportunities and strengthen fan relationships beyond traditional music streaming. The partnership will gradually integrate artist monetisation tools of FENIX360 into Gaana throughout 2026.
Under the proposed model, 70% of new revenue generated with the help of additional features will go to relevant rights holders or artists, while the remaining 30% will be divided equally between Gaana and FENIX360.
The ecosystem is intended to move beyond conventional streaming by connecting fans and artists through social engagement, video, music, tickets, merchandise and live experiences. Artists who use the integrated tools are anticipated to have access to dedicated spaces where they can promote merchandise, share digital content and explore opportunities around fan-driven experiences and live events.
The rollout will take place during 2026 in phases, allowing the platforms to progressively introduce the new features. The partnership comes as the music industry explores diversified income models, particularly as artists seek greater control over how they monetise and build their audiences.
CEO of Entertainment Network India Limited (ENIL), Yatish Mehrishi, which operates Gaana, said the collaboration could create new opportunities for monetisation, artist engagement and fan connections while supporting the broader entertainment and audio ecosystem of the platform.
Chairman and CEO of FENIX360, Allan Mark Klepfisz, described the partnership as an important milestone in the creator-focused strategy of the company and highlighted the importance of India as a major music market.
The collaboration reflects a broader shift in digital music, with streaming platforms evolving increasingly from simple distribution services into artist-to-fan ecosystems. By combining streaming with fan engagement, commerce, digital content and live experiences, Gaana and FENIX360 aim to create more sustainable opportunities for rights holders and artists.
