DJ Snake said in a statement, “India always brings incredible energy and I'm really looking forward to returning here. I can't wait to get back on that stage and celebrate with everyone.”
The announcement has come months after DJ Snake cancelled his planned India tour in January 2026. He was originally scheduled to perform in February across six cities, including Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR. The tour was cancelled shortly before it was due to start after the artist made the announcement that he needed surgery and would need around a month to recover.
With the confirmation of his return, DJ Snake is set to reconnect through the Sunburn events with Indian audiences.
Born William Grigahcine, DJ Snake is renowned for blending electronic dance music with hip-hop, pop and influences from different musical cultures. His major hits include Lean On, Turn Down for What, Let Me Love You, Taki Taki and Loco Contigo. These releases have helped establish him as one of the most recognisable names in global electronic music.
DJ Snake has previously performed in India at Sunburn Festivals and headlined multi-city arena tours in 2022 and 2019. He also shot the music videos for Magenta Riddim and Lean On in India.
His December return adds to Sunburn Festival 2026 another international headliner and marks his first confirmed India performances since the February tour was cancelled.
