The mind-blowing achievement makes him the only Indian artist who has featured in the global top five of the platform, alongside international hip-hop icons Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
The ranking highlights remarkable rise of Badshah as one of the most influential music artists of India and reflects the global reach of Indian hip-hop. While fellow Indian rappers Karan Aujla and Sidhu Moosewala also appear on list of the world's 1,000 most-viewed hip-hop artists of Chartmasters, neither has entered the elite top five. This makes accomplishment of Badshah particularly significant.
The milestone coincides with two decades of career of Badshah, during which he has released around 150 tracks that have generated across digital platforms more than 25 billion streams.
