At the 25th edition of IIFA Digital Awards in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the documentary ‘Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous’ clinched the Best Docu-Series/Film award. Produced by Sikhya Entertainment and directed by Mozez Singh, the film offers an intimate look into Hirdesh Singh’s life, better known as Honey Singh.

The film was produced by Sikhya Entertainment, renowned for its Oscar-winning projects under the guidance of Achin Jain and Guneet Monga Kapoor, with Raunaq Bajaj as associate producer and Deepa Bhatia handling editing.

Honey Singh who has given his voice to hits such as  ‘Lungi Dance,’ ‘Chaar Bottle Vodka,’ ‘Desi Kalakaar’ and ‘Brown Rang’ revolutionized mainstream Bollywood and Indian rap music. However, at his career’s peak, he vanished for years from the limelight, later revealing his mental health-related struggles.

Recently the rapper released ‘Maniac’ from his ‘Glory’ album featuring a Bhojpuri verse by Ragini Vishwakarma and actress Esha Gupta. Additionally, Honey Singh is currently on his ‘Millionaire India’ tour, performing in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Jaipur after stops in Delhi, Lucknow and Indore.

Meanwhile, the celebrations of IIFA 2025 continue in Jaipur, with a guest appearance by MMA legend Anthony Pettis and a tribute to ‘Sholay’ on its 50th anniversary. On March  9 awards night will be hosted by Kartik Aaryan. Kareena Kapoor Khan will pay tribute to Raj Kapoor, her grandfather in a special performance.
