This November 14 Shillong will take center stage as international superstars The Script and Jason Derulo headline Day 1 of Cherry Blossom Festival 2025. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma made this announcement in Lariti Auditorium at the World Music Day celebration.

This year’s festival will transform Shillong into a cultural hub. Alongside the headline concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, cultural installations, and pop-up performances are planned at scenic locations such as MFA Ground, Ward’s Lake, and SRGT Ground—creating over the weekend of November 14–15 a city-wide festival experience.

Day 1 Co-Headliners

• Jason Derulo: The Miami-born R&B and pop icon will deliver mind-blowing performances of his global hits such as “Talk Dirty,” “Swalla,” and “Savage Love.”
• The Script: The celebrated rock trio of Ireland will make their debut in India. With chart-topping songs and more than 20 million albums sold such as “Breakeven,” “Hall of Fame,” and “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” The Script is renowned for emotionally resonant live shows that have won the hearts of the fans worldwide.

The Day 2 lineup details are still under wraps, but organisers promise another stellar evening.

Festival-goers will get RFID-enabled LED wristbands that synchronize with the stage lighting, creating a visual spectacle. Tickets will be available in a limited number to keep up with the reputation of the festival for world-class production. Sales will start exclusively on RockskiTickets.com at the end of June.
