In India rock fans are finally getting the moment they have waited for years. Foo Fighters, legendary American rock band will make their highly-anticipated debut in India in January 2027. The band will bring their acclaimed live show to Mumbai and Bengaluru for two highly anticipated performances.

The band will first take the stage on 29 January 2027 in Bengaluru at the Bengaluru Live (venue) with a supporting lineup featuring Alain Johannes, The Pretty Reckless, Pinkshift and Die Spitz. The tour will then move on 31 January 2027 to Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, where Foo Fighters will be joined by Die Spitz, Still in Therapy, The Pretty Reckless and Mali.

David Grohl, the frontman of the Foo Fighters, said in a statement: "After 31 years as a band, we can't wait to finally play for our fans in India! It's taken a few years but we promise it'll be worth the wait. We hope Bengaluru and Mumbai are ready for a couple of very long, very loud nights."

Renowned for anthems such as The Pretender, Everlong, Learn to Fly, Best of You and Times Like These, Foo Fighters have built a reputation as one of the most celebrated live rock acts in the world. Their arrival in India marks a huge milestone for the live music landscape of the country, giving fans a chance to experience the high-energy performances of the band for the first time on home soil.

Among Indian rock audiences, the announcement has generated significant excitement, with many of whom have spent years hoping for a tour in India from the Grammy-winning group. For both shows, tickets will be available exclusively on BookMyShow. On 16 June at 12:00 PM, the general sale will begin. Given the global popularity of the band and the historic nature of these performances, strong demand is anticipated when tickets go live.
