Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker, Nick Murphy’s musical alias, is set to return to India in September 2026 for a three-city tour, marking his first performances in India in nearly seven years. Renowned for his unique blend of soul, electronic, indie and alternative music, the artist will perform in Mumbai, Gurugram and Bengaluru as part of the LiveBox concert series that has been produced by SkillBox.

On September 18, the tour will start at DLF CyberHub in Gurugram, followed by a performance on September 19 at Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai, before concluding on September 20 at Poenix Marketcity, Bengaluru. The concerts will give Indian fans a chance to experience some of his best-known songs live and latest material.

With tracks such as Gold, Talk Is Cheap, Chet Faker rose to international prominence and his widely praised cover of No Diggity. His music has blended electronic textures with intimate songwriting, making him one of the most influential contemporary artists of Australia.

The India tour comes in support of A Love for Strangers, his latest album released in February 2026. Under his first full-length release in five years and the Chet Faker name the record marks his fourth studio album. Exploring themes of heartbreak, love, uncertainty and human connection, the album has received critical attention for its emotional depth and introspective songwriting.
